Troubleshooting options to try:

✦ If you purchase a base with add-ons and don’t see all of them in the file preview image in your device’s file system, it may simply be because the add-ons are hidden layers, so they aren’t visible in the file preview. Once you actually import the .PSD file into a compatible art program all of the add-ons should be there and can be individually unhidden to look through them! I have my .PSD bases set up this way because if all layers where visible simultaneously it would look like a big mess of spaghetti and you would have to go through and manually hide nearly ALL of the add-ons to be able to clearly look at them individually.
✦ If you opened the base’s .PSD file into a compatible art program and still don’t see any add-ons in the layers panel, then make sure you try opening it as a new file/canvas and not as a new layer in an existing file/canvas. If you originally tried to open the base by importing it as a single layer then you would only see a flat image with no add-ons as their own separate layers that can be toggled on or off. If you are having trouble understanding how to open a .PSD as a new file instead of a single layer in your art program then please refer to your program’s independent help page, online manual or your own research as I’m not familiar with every single art program available.
✦ Make sure you double check that the base you purchased is one that comes with add-ons. If a base comes with add-ons it will always be stated in the description or main of the product.

How to extract the .ZIP file

✦ Most of my bases and other digital products come inside a .zip file. The .zip file has everything compressed inside of it for convenient download. Here’s a general guide on how you can open it!
✦ Once you have downloaded the .zip file. Go to your device’s file manager (Such as File explorer on Windows or the Files app on iOS) and navigate to the “Downloads” section (If using iOS you may need to check for a second “Downloads” section that’s used for ICloud if you don’t already see the .zip file).
✦ When you have found the .zip file you need to either right-click on, tap on, or hold down on the file (depending on what device you’re using). Some options will pop up. You want to select whichever option that is along the lines of unzip, uncompress, or extract. Confirm that you want to extract the files if your device prompts you to do so. Once you have done all that the base files or folder(s) containing them should show up and are ready to use!
✦ If you’re still having trouble extracting .zip files on your device please refer to your operating system’s help page, or your own research. I do now own a device for every operating system out there so I can’t give you specific instructions for your device if it’s not one I’m familiar with. You may also alternatively use an app or program designed to extract .zip files if for whatever reason you can’t do it manually.

Disclaimer:

It’s your responsibility to check whether your device and art program can open files with the pixel dimensions and number of layers listed in the product’s description before you buy. I do not accept refunds for digital products. Please do not ask me if your art program and device can open said files, I’m not familiar with every art program or device available. Please do your own research.

Things you can try:

✦ First try opening any “small” version that may have come with the base if you haven’t already.
✦ If the base’s description clearly states that it comes with “split files” then try opening each split file into your art program. You can then copy and paste the features you want to use from one file into another to use after you delete some layers to make room first.
✦ As a last resort, if you’ve tried opening the “small” or “split” versions of the base and they are still too large or have more layers than what your current program/device can open, then if you have access to a computer with enough memory you can try temporarily downloading a new free art program that doesn’t have a layer limit, open the base in it, then resize the file to a lower resolution/delete some layers until it fits your primary device and art program’s restrictions and export it to open in the program you’re used too. Or if you prefer, you can individually export each layer as a .png in the new art program and then import the individual ones you want to use into your original art program.

Trouble shooting options:

✦ Check your browser settings, if there’s an option to enable/disable downloads then make sure they are enabled.
✦ Try downloading the files from a different browser.
